Budding entrepreneurs, Jake Grace and Rory Wilson, take their skills from the classroom to the marketplace demonstrating an excellent example of the entrepreneurial spirit that exists among students at KCS.

Congratulations to Ethan Smyth, TY Student at KCS, who has been crowned the winner of the MOS Ireland Excel Championship 2023. Ethan, along with Grace McCarthy and Thady Saunders, qualified for the MOS Irish Final and competed in the event, organised by Prodigy Learning, which was hosted at Microsoft DreamSpace in Dublin today.

Today the Transition Year Model United Nations, Global Citizenship, and Erasmus students of Kinsale Community School celebrated Europe Day 2023.

We are thrilled to announce that Ronan Hawkins, Transition Year, has achieved an outstanding accomplishment by placing 2nd in the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge National Final.

Kinsale Community School hosted a two-day EU Council of Ministries conference in collaboration with the Department of Education aimed at exploring Sustainable Education Strategies.

We are thrilled to announce that 7 students from KCS have qualified for the prestigious Bebras Computing Challenge National Final on Computational Thinking which will be held at Maynooth University this weekend.

Kinsale Community School sent two teams from the Transition Year program to compete in the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas from April 25th-27th. One team finished 26th in their division, marking the highest-ever finish for an Irish school in the VEX Robotics World Championship.

This week we welcomed Mr. Iggy Dineen, our new Deputy Principal.

The KCS Bank Team proudly represented their school at the Bank of Ireland Money Smarts Challenge held at the RDS in Dublin on Tuesday, 18th April 2023.
