KCS crowned Tournament Champions at VEX Robotics Regionals

Kinsale Community School's Transition Year VEX robotics teams displayed an excellent performance at the Cork IQ and V5 VEX Robotics Regionals hosted at the MTU Cork Campus on Thursday 19th January. The four Teams which represented KCS scooped up 4 of the 5 Awards. They were awarded Robot Skills Champions, the Design Award, the Excellence Award as well as being crowned Tournament Champions. The successful TY Vex Robotics Teams at Kinsale Community School are looking forward to taking part in the National Competition on 23rd February in MTU.  

The TY VEX Robotics Teams at Kinsale Community Schools also mentor local Primary schools. The primary schools competed on Wednesday, where Summercove National School were winners of the Excellence Award. As Summercove National Schools first year taking part in VEX IQ this was a great achievement for them.
