LCA Field Trips for Key Assignments

On Friday the 17th of January LCA 1 and LCA 2 went on a field trip in conjunction with their key assignments. First on the list of activities for the day was a workshop with local chocolate maker Allison from Clonakilty Chocolates. Both groups of students got to learn about the whole process of chocolate making while tasting a range of different chocolates. They finished the workshop by tempering chocolate, piping and decorating their own chocolate sweets. It was a very positive experience for all getting an insight into local enterprises and learning how to set up a small business.

Following this we went Clonakilty park cinema as part of the English and Communications key assignment. We all watched Jumanji 2 and thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the cinema.
