Great Opportunities at Eli Lilly

KCS welcomed Gary Kirby in from Eli Lilly Kinsale this week to talk to interested sixth year students about the apprenticeship opportunities they are about to recruit for.   Gary spoke about the overall success of pharmaceuticals in Ireland and in Eli Lilly and explained the different roles that are on offer in general within the company.  The students then got to hear from 3 current apprentices who are in their first and final year and explained the roles and training they are undergoing.   Eli Lilly Kinsale are recruiting 2 Electrical and instrumentation apprentices and 2 mechanical, automation and manufacturing fitters this year.  These roles offer fantastic opportunities for our students.  They would gain a qualification after 4 years as well as lots of work experience plus if they decide to further their education the company pays most of the fees.  To apply students can go online to www.lilly.ie/careers and apply before 21st June.
