Munster U15 Hurling Championship Success for KCS Boys

On Thursday the 9th of February, Kinsale took on Hamilton HS Bandon, in the Munster U15 Hurling Championship in Dunderrow.

Playing conditions were very tough as there was a strong wind blowing across the pitch. Kinsale got off to a great start getting the opening point of the match. Kinsale got the first of many goals when David Forde burst through the Hammies defence and blasted the ball into the back of the net. Hammies replied with putting a few balls over the bar to keep in touch. After a mistake in Kinsales back line Hammies gathered possession of the sliotar and scored a goal to reduce the gap.

The second half was all Kinsale. David Forde yet again scored his second goal. Kinsale got 3 more goals (2 from Lewis) to see off Hammies in a hard fought game. Credit to all players who gave it there all in terrible conditions.

 Final result: Kinsale 5-07 Hammies 1-09
