Garda Siochana 23 to 27 March - 2 places

This year, An Garda Siochana are looking to organise 1 weeks Work Experience for 10 Transition Year students from the Bandon District. That allows 2 places for each school and KCS have luckily been given 2 places as part of this.

 They have scheduled the week of 23rd to 27th March, and hope to have 1 days outing to the Garda College in Templemore as part of the week. For the remainder, there will be presentations from specialist Garda units such as: Dog Unit, Traffic, Community Policing, Juvenile Liaison Officer, Scenes of Crime, and a presentation by a recently qualified Garda. It will be 9.30am – 3.30pm each day or so, specific details to be finalised closer to the week.

Closing date for receipt of this email will be lunchtime Fri Jan 24th. If there are more than 2 students interested then names will be pulled from a hat.
