Celebrating Creativity: Stunning Textile Work by Second-Year Students

Ms Egar’s second-year students have demonstrated their exceptional creativity and craftsmanship through their recent textile projects. This year, their work features an impressive array of dry needle felting and intricate embroidery, showcasing both their technical skills and artistic flair.

The dry needle felting pieces are particularly noteworthy, with students manipulating wool and other fibres to create detailed and textured designs. This labour intensive technique requires patience and precision, and the results are nothing short of stunning. Each piece tells a unique story, brought to life through careful attention to detail and a deep understanding of the medium. The projects also featured embroidery and students have employed various stitches and techniques to produce intricate patterns and images.

We are incredibly proud of our second-year students for their amazing efforts. Their work not only highlights their technical abilities but also their creative vision, proving that the future of textile arts is in very capable hands.
