LCA 1 Students Get Creative with Halloween Displays

This year, the LCA 1 class took on an exciting project as part of their general education task, led by Ms. Fitzpatrick, focusing on art. The students were challenged to design a Halloween display, and they went all out by creating a life-sized ghostly figure using a plaster cast of one of their classmates!

In addition to the full-sized ghost, the class crafted smaller cheesecloth ghosts, dipping the fabric in glue and shaping it over an armature. These spooky figures were used to decorate the Coffee Doc. The Halloween spirit continued with the creation of ghostly bunting, Mexican-inspired candy skulls, and vibrant window paintings that adorned the podcast room and other areas around the school.

The project brought out everyone’s creativity, and the students enjoyed working together to bring Halloween to life around the school.
