Kinsale Community School is proud to celebrate the exceptional achievement of Ethan Smyth, a talented transition year student who today secured an impressive third-place finish in the highly prestigious UK and Ireland Four Nations MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) Championship. Ethan's outstanding success on the international stage follows his earlier triumph in the Irish National Final, where he secured first place, earning him the opportunity to compete in the Four Nations Championship.  

In partnership with Prodigy Learning, the Four Nations MOS Championship challenges students from schools across Ireland and the UK to showcase their proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The championship comprises rigorous exams that assess participants' skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, essential tools in today's digital world. Ethan Smyth's exceptional performance in the Excel Expert category placed him among the standout performers in this fiercely contested championship. 

Building upon his success in the Irish National Final, Ethan Smyth showcased his exemplary skills in the UK and Ireland MOS Championship. Competing against the top participants from across the region, Ethan's expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel Expert enabled him to secure a remarkable third-place finish, solidifying his position among the finest young talents in the field.
