U16.5 Hurling Blitz

On Tuesday 6th September, our U16.5 hurlers had their first outing of the year playing in a Blitz in Mayfield GAA. We had 3 matches against Christians College Cork, Hamilton High School and Coláiste an Phiarsaigh Glanmire

Kinsale started off the day to a very strong Christians team. Kinsale battled hard with some great contests around the middle of the field with very strong performances from Cillian Fitzpatrick and Ronan Sheehan.

In the second game Kinsale played Hammies. Kinsale dominated all over the pitch with points from Dean Cosgrave and Jack Harrington. The game was sealed with goals coming from Luke Farley, Noah Ryan and Maitiu O'Toole and ended up winning on a scoreline of 3.10 to 2.1

In the last match Kinsale were on fire and their hunger for the ball was excellent. They outworked Glanmire scoring three goals, two which came from Darragh Winters and the other from Sean Byrne gave Kinsale the victory on a scoreline of 3.3 to 1.5.
