U14 Hurling Blitz

On Wednesday 21st September, First Year students made their debut for KCS in Bandon GAA pitch. We had two teams on the day: KCS 1 and KCS 2. We had 4 matches. KCS 1 took on Hamilton High School 1 and Clonakilty Community School. KCS 2 took on Hamilton High School 1 and 2.

KCS 1 took on Hamilton High School 1 in the opening match. Despite their great efforts and an unstoppable goal from Tadgh Cummins, it ended with a score line of 2-7 to 1-2. KCS 1 dominated their second game against Clonakilty Community School, with Fionn O’Shea, Odhran Sheehy and Shane Galvin playing a blinder. They had an exceptional win, with a score line of 4-6 to 0-1.

KCS 2 competed against Hamilton High School 1 and 2. Alan Nagle and Evan Daly battled to the end, but KCS did not come away with a win. Fionn KIngston scored incredible points, but unfortunately, it was not our day.

The U14 boys had an enjoyable day out. The boys are already looking forward to their next outing.
