U15 Boys Football Success
The U15 boys made the journey to Ballygrennan in Co. Limerick on Monday 19th September.
The Kinsale boys got off to a great start, against a strong West Clare team, with points from Liam O’ Regan and Kieran Carroll opening the score board. A brilliant goal from Ollie Buckley settled the team. There were many scores in the first half, with every starting forward getting their name on the scoreboard. Goals from John Quinn and Ger Murphy put Kinsale in a great position.
In the second half, Kinsale played exceptionally well, with more goals coming from Ger Murphy and outstanding points from John Quinn and Darragh Winters. The backline were exceptional, putting on a solid performance.
Subs made a huge impact for Kinsale. All 28 players who travelled to the match, got game time. Both goalkeepers, Barry McGinn and Rian Fitzgerald made excellent saves. The Kinsale boys were victorious with a final score line of 6-17 to 3-8.
Overall, it was a great game for the U15 footballers and they are all very much looking forward to their next outing.
