TodayFM Big Busk in Aid of Focus Ireland

Today, Friday 11th March 2022, music students from Kinsale Community School dedicated their talents towards supporting TodayFM’s #BigBusk in aid of Focus Ireland. The students hosted their own event with the help of Ms Kearny, Ms Brennan and Mr Pentony, where beautiful music from a range of genres was showcased in our school canteen.

‘‘With over 9,000 people currently without a home in Ireland, Focus Ireland and Today FM want YOU to join us in the fight against homelessness. We need your help now more than ever to support families and children experiencing homelessness on their journey to a home of their own.’’ Focus Ireland

The students willingness to raise funds for such a worthy cause is nothing short of inspiring. An uplifting atmosphere was created throughout the school by each of the busking performances. Congratulations to all those involved in this very successful event and a sincere thank you to all students and staff members who donated.
