New Acquisition- artwork by former student of KCS, Nadia Corridan.

KCS is very proud of our past pupils and their achievements and have recently bought a print by artist Nadia Corridan which is now hung in the parents room. The piece is called “Cecilia” and is an A2 sized limited print of one of her paintings.

Nadia did here Leaving Cert here in 1997 and is now working as a fine artist based in Enniscorthy, Ireland. Her work focuses around the themes of memory and touch. “The majority of my work is figurative, with a particular focus on hands. I find myself repeatedly drawn to the intimate nature that hands can reveal as a subject matter, observing human interactions in both public and private moments. An unspoken dialogue.”

“Cecilia” was chosen by Ms. Fitzpatrick as it shows hands and books and reflects our efforts, interest and joy in learning.
