First Year Christmas Lip Sync Competition

Congratulations and well done to the Meitheal team for organising the Lip Sync Competition for all first year students. The Lip Sync Competition is run every year by the Meitheal team as a fun socialising activity, to get first years out of their comfort zone and get them to try new things, while also socialising to make new friends. This involves them talking and mixing with others, to make up a dance routine to suit the song of their choice. Each first year group performed their dance routine on Tuesday the 21st of December. The winners were chosen on the 22nd of December. Well done to 1A12 who won the award for being the most enthusiastic group. 1A2 received the award for tricks, the winner of the comedy category was 1A9. 1A7 won the Ceol award and the Eire award went to 1A11. 1A10 won the Choreography award and 1A4 won the Best Dance award. 1A5 won the Christmas award, while 1A1 won the best Song Choice award. 1A6 won the Energetic award. 1A8 won the Lip Sync Award and 1A3 won the final award for best costume. Well done to all the first years for their hard-work, dedication and enthusiasm.
