TY School Musical

On Friday 24th of September, the roles for the show were announced, and since then, great excitement has taken hold of all TY students.

The iconic Sandy and Danny will be played by Arwen O’ Donoghue and Evan Lehane, alongside Jessie Moloney and Ross McCarthy as Rizzo and Kenickie.

Our Pink Ladies, Dearbhla Kelly (Marty), Isobel Bergin (Frenchy) and Grace Coyle (Jan), Grace Monaghan (Patty), Isabelle Linehan (Lulu) and Aoife Roche (Kim), have their pink jackets ready to go.

The show wouldn’t be complete without some leather jackets, of course. T-Birds Zach Allen (Bobby), Ted O’Callaghan (Teddy) and Aaron Courtney (Roger), will make sure this year’s TY School Production is a hit.

Azra Dervish will take the role of Cha-Cha, Sandy’s rival, along with her best friend Georgina, played by Amy-Sue Broderick, together with their posse consisting of Louise Hurley, Kate Farley, Hazel O’Kelly, Lauren Hubert and Aoife Hurley.

Both groups in the show have great rivalry. To keep things in order, Lilian Gleave will play teacher Ms. Lynch.

To cheer them on all night, we have the cheerleaders Eimear Dineen, Jenny Foley, Chloe Carroll, Eliza Duncan, Rachel Harrington, Jeanne Murphy, Mary Murphy and Ellen Crowley.

Last, but certainly not least, we have Thomas O’Mahony as Chad, Enda Gallagher as Eugene, Elliot Ager as Lucas, and Evan Kelly, to keep us entertained as the DJ.

More roles are soon to be announced, but we can be sure this year's show will be one to remember! Watch this space!
