The transition from primary to secondary school is a very important stage in a young person’s education and at Kinsale Community School we want to ensure that this process is informative, supportive and as smooth as possible for our incoming students and their parents.

We are delighted to inform you that we are hosting a virtual opening evening on Tuesday 28th September, which will include a tour of KCS and interviews with students and teachers. We are inviting parents and pupils from our local primary schools to express an interest in attending this virtual event.

During the virtual tour, you will observe the wonderful subjects and activities that your child will have an opportunity to be involved in as a student in KCS. We are very proud of the state of the art facilities available at our school, but what we are more proud of is our school motto ‘All Together in Learning’ which is underpinned by the four rights that are afforded to all our students; the right to be happy, the right to learn, the right to be different and the right to be heard.
