Home Economics Students Visit Cocomo Chocolate

On Tuesday February 11th, twenty four Fifth Year Home Economics Students visited ‘Cocomo Chocolate’ for their annual Social and Scientific trip. They were privileged to be the first group to take part in a workshop in the new Ballineen premises. 

Students were welcomed with melted chocolate and marshmallows. They then received a production process overview and a chocolate making demonstration. Finally, they made their own tray of chocolate shapes as well as chocolate lollipops, packaged them and brought them home.

They thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
