Social Education - LCA

LCA2 as part of Social Education undertake a task on a contemporary issue of their choice. The students research a topic that is affecting people in our society. In addition, they undertake an action to try to improve this issue in some way. This year one of our students Meabh Aherne took on the task of investigating the issue of racism and the Black Lives Matter movement. Meabh decided to write a speech to inform other students of the impact of racism and our duty to treat everyone with respect.
