Junk Kouture 2020
Junk Kouture is a national contest which encourages young designers in second level education to create striking couture designs and impressive works of wearable art from everyday junk that would normally find its way into the bin. This year 8 impressive outfits entered the competition, created by a class of 20 students led by Ms. Deirdre Kelly. A variety of materials were used this year including plastic packaging, CDs, sliotars, old copybooks and even old dolls!
