Sports Update
Senior Soccer:
The senior soccer squad had a great win in the Cork Cup yesterday as they defeated St Brogans in Kinsale. The seniors are the current champions of the competition and will be hoping for more success. Well done to all squad members and to the goal scorers Darragh Crowley, Harry Sheehan, Conor O Herlihy and Conor Power.
U15 Soccer:
Hard luck to the u15 soccer team who were defeated by a strong Rochestown team in the Cork Cup on Tuesday. The team prepared well for the match by coming in during the mid-term to train. This highlights the dedication and commitment of the team. The team fought hard and played very well in the first half creating many chances but were unfortunate with their efforts. Rochestown took over in the second half and put the game to bed with two goals back to back which left a mountain to climb for the team. All members of the squad played in today’s match which was great to see.
Best wishes to Charlie Sheehan in second year who sustained an unfortunate injury during the game.
U14Footballers:
Unfortunately the U14 football competition came to an end for KCS with a defeat to Colaiste pobail bheanntrai. The lads gave all they had in the second half but couldn’t make up the early goals that were conceded in the first half. Big thanks to the U14 boys footballers for their commitment all year.
