Athletics and Community Games Update

Well done to the Kinsale students who took part in the South Munster Schools Cross Country Racing in Riverstick last Friday 1st February. 

The following Kinsale students took part:  
Minors Claire Crowley, Grace Coyle, Sam Kiely, Michael O’Driscoll, Joey O’Callaghan, Callum Good and Jamie O'Sullivan, Junior Nicole Buckley (all 1st years) and intermediates David McCarthy and Seán Crowley (both 3rd years.)

The minor girls came 8th as a team, and the minor boys finished 5th overall.

Fantastic running by all. It was a very cold day but they all ran really well.

Claire Crowley, Nicole Buckley, Sam Kiely and Michael O'Driscoll are now through to the Munsters in Waterford on Feb 15th. 

Michael O Driscoll also took part in the recent Community Games swimming competition on the 16th January and came 1st in the Butterfly event. He will represent Cork at the finals in Limerick on 25/26th May.
