Irish Junior Maths Competition

On Friday last nearly 80 of our first year students took part in round 1 of the Irish Junior Maths Competition which was organised by Ms Aoife O’Mahony and Ms Grace Fox. This is a very challenging national competition and students really put their problem solving skills to the test. We were very proud of each student who took part in the challenge.

Congratulations to the top 11 students from Kinsale Community School, Sadhbh Coughlan, Gavin McCarthy, Alex Connolly, Jake Lynch, Conor O Leary, Cristina Martinez, Daniel Janse Van Rensburg, Sarah Lukacova, Conor Dineen, Sophie Peare and Sharon Obazi.

We look forward to hearing if any of our students qualify for the final next month in Cork.
