Parents Association

The Parents Association (PA) will hold its Annual General meeting in the school on Monday 11th Nov at 7pm. All parents and guardians are invited to attend. There will be an address to parents from principal Mr McCarthy and from the PA chairperson Tom Brennan.

One of the roles of the parents in the school is to run the school book rental scheme for students in first to third years. We are very grateful to Natacha Farley who coordinated the scheme last year and to Liz Timmons who coordinated it for a number of years prior to that. Natacha has stepped down from the role due to her work commitments so we now need one or more parents to take over the role of coordinating this scheme. As you may know, there are always multiple parent volunteers who help out when the books are being given out and returned, but we need to find a new coordinator or coordinators if this excellent scheme is to continue.

There is also a 6th year parents Leaving Cert information meeting on at 6pm on Nov 11th. It would be great if people who are attending the first meeting would stay on to the support the Parents Association meeting too.
