Turas Gaeltachta don 6ú Bliain

Beidh An Turas Gaeltachta don 6ú Bliain ar siúl Dé hAoine, 28ú Feabhra go Dé Domhnaigh, 1 Márta 2020. Gach bliain, tugtar deis do dhaltaí ón séú bliain dul go dtí An Daingean ar feadh deireadh seachtaine mar ullmhúchán breise don Bhéaltriail (40%). Le linn an deireadh seachtaine, fanfaidh na daltaí le bean an tí áitiúil. Dé hAoine, fágfaidh siad an scoil ar maidin agus nuair a shroichfidh siad An Daingean, tabharfaidh siad cuairt ar an mara beo. An oíche sin, baileoidh siad le chéile sa halla áitiúil chun éisteacht le haoichainteoir agus chun céilí a dhéanamh. Dé Sathairn, freastalóidh siad ar ranganna ar maidin sula rachaidh siad ar thuras bus timpeall Cheann Sléibhe agus go dtí Ionad an Bhlascaoid Mhóir um thráthnóna. An oíche sin, cuirfear céilí nó séisiún ceoil ar siúl sa halla pobail. Fágfaidh siad slán leis na mná tí maidin Dé Domhnaigh chun a bheith ar ais ar scoil timpeall am lóin.

Má tá spéis agat dul ar an Turas Gaeltachta, téigh go dtí C06 le héarlais €100 chun clárú le Ms Ní Chearbhaill agus Ms R Hayes Dé hAoine, 18ú Deireadh Fómhair ag 10:45.

The Gaeltacht trip for sixth years will take place Friday, 28th February to Sunday, 1st March 2020. Every year students from 6th year are given the opportunity to go to Dingle for the weekend as extra preparation for the oral exam (worth 40%). During the weekend, students will stay with a local “bean an tí”. On Friday, they will leave school in the morning and when they will reach Dingle, they will visit the Aquarium. That night, they will gather in the local hall to listen to a guest speaker and do a “céilí”. On Saturday, they will attend classes in the morning before they will go on a bus tour around Slea head and to the Great Blasket Centre. That night, a céilí or “séisiún ceoil” will be put on in the community hall. They will say goodbye to their “bean an tí” to be back to the school around lunchtime on Sunday.

If you are interested in going on the 6th year Gaeltacht trip, go to C06 with a deposit of €100 to register with Ms Ní Chearbhaill and Ms R Hayes on Friday, 18th October at 10:45am.
