Sports Update
Soccer:
The first year boys soccer team had a great win against a very strong Colaiste an Chraoibhin team in their 1st Year Munster Cup fixture.
The team started very well and took an early lead with great build up play from David Healy and Conor Bailey which led to a great move being finished off by Conor Dineen to put KCS 1-0 up.
As Colasite pushed for a goal our defenders were kept on their toes. Great defending from Luke Cussack and Gareth O’ Donovan kept scoring opportunities to a minimum, while Hugh Hoare made some great saves.
Colaiste eventually pulled a goal back but the team kept their heads high and once again took the lead through great play by Conor Gillen and Jamie O’ Sullivan who slipped a fantastic ball to Max Lee who finished off the attack to put KCS in the lead and win the match.
