Concern Debate
Kinsale Community School retained its unbeaten status and recorded its fourth consecutive victory in the annual Concern Debates on Monday last, 21 January.
The team comprising: Emily Smith, Cliodhna Doyle, Freya Hellbust, Madi Hayes and Emily Gleave opposed the motion that: "The United Nations is no longer relevant". They defeated De La Salle, Macroom. This follows previous victories against Mount Saint Michaels, Rosscarberry, Sacred Heart, Clonakilty, and Bandon Grammar School.
The team is mentored by Ms Kennedy, Ms Kincaid and Bertie Pearse. The KCS team completed the group stage with 9 points from a maximum of 12. The highest scoring 24 team nationwide will progress to the knockout stages. We await other results to see if our team will progress.
