Past Pupil Daisy Pemble Visits Senior Cycle Students

Kinsale Community School were delighted to have past student and current UCC scholarship holder, Daisy Pemble, visit to make a presentation to our senior cycle students about Law and French at UCC.  She is currently in her final year, after spending last year in France studying as part of her 4 year Degree. She gave the students a very informed insight into what is involved in all elements of studying in France and of Law, in terms of the many career opportunities available.  Daisy obtained a prestigious scholarship this year for having top grades in her second year in UCC.   She also participates in many extra-curricular activities and set up the UCC Knitting Society. Daisy explained to our Senior students the importance of getting involved in the many activities UCC has to offer and how this helps you to make many friends outside your own field of study along with the many experiences you gain from throughout college life.

We would like to thank Daisy for coming back to the school and help other students with their decision.  Many students have stated how great it was and how it has helped confirm their interest in pursuing Law &/or French after school.
