Kinsale Senior Soccer Team Qualify for Cup Final.

On Tuesday afternoon our Senior Soccer team secured a place in the Cork Cup final for the first time. We overcame a dogged and well organised Nagle Community College by a single goal thanks to Luke Desmond’s smart finish halfway through the first half.

Kinsale had the lion’s share of possession for the majority of the contest and played some tantalising football with Darragh Crowley, Chris Healy and Luke Desmond in the engine room dictating the play.

However despite all our possession a second goal would not come. Sean Twomey and Eoin Redmond marshalled the defence well while Luke O Callaghan kept the ball out of our net.

The final is to be played next week with a time and venue yet to be confirmed.
