Senior Hurling Update

Senior hurling Munster B championship Result: KCS 4.19 Patrician Academy Mallow 0.09

It was a commanding victory for our senior hurlers in Ballygarvan again on Thursday. Although the first half had no goals there was sharp shooting from our forwards, in particular from Ryan Long, Aidan O’Donovan and Aaron Lyons. Richard Sweetnam was accurate on several occasions to leave the half time score at 14 points to 7.

The backs continued their solid display in the second half with strong performances from Conor McCarthy, Darragh Kidney and Kealan O’Rourke.  Patrician Academy began to tire early in the second half, where Gearoid O’Riordan and Darragh Crowley did a great job in keeping a constant supply of ball into the full forward line where each member of our full forward line managed to finish to the net.

It was a great display right to the end from KCS but tougher challenges lie ahead.
