1st and 2nd Year Hurling Blitz

On Tuesday 23rd of March, there was an All-Ireland hurling blitz organised in the school Astro for recognition of the hard work and dedication of the U14 and U15 hurlers.

There were eight teams in total (four from Munster and four from Leinster). Each team consisted of four second- and four first-year students. Cork and Tipperary came through the Munster Championship while Offaly and Kilkenny came through the Leinster Championship. These four teams then advanced to the All-Ireland semi-final. Cork (captained by Donnacha Deasy) defeated Offaly to again meet Tipperary in the All-Ireland. Oscar Ryan captained Tipperary to the victory while Darragh Murphy gave a man of the match performance.
