We are very excited to announce that ESB International will be hosting one of our annual Women in Engineering events. This programme, now in its 10th year, will be taking place in our Cork office for the first time ever! This programme focuses on encouraging more female talent and interest in the broad field of engineering.
The aim of this programme is to give female Transition Year Students an opportunity to explore and understand what wonderful opportunities a career in Engineering can offer. This will be done through an active timetable of events on the 12th, 13th and 14th of March 2019.

The programme will include activities and challenges, guest speakers and tours of some of our power generating sites. These include Inniscara Dam and to a windfarm, all within close proximity of our office. Transport will be included, as well as lunches and any protective gear which may be required. The programme will start off each day in our office in Little Island and will run for the whole day.

Our Women in engineering programme has always been a great success, and we would highly recommend it to any female in TY with an interest in engineering, maths or science to apply. 2/3 girls from each school will be given a place. Selection criteria can be determined by the school as they see fit.

No fees will be require to participate in this programme.
