This year transition year students in TY2 have set up a Saint Vincent de Paul Youth Conference through their RE class with Ms Hedderman. 

Objectives:  

• Conference students will learn to set and deliver on action-based goals throughout their academic year.  

• They will learn how to guide/support fellow students to engage in projects for their school, community and SVP.  

• Students will identify how to use their time on the programme to develop their social engagement. They will learn to commit sufficient time to their projects, the importance of setting meetings and planning and will learn how to engage in effective project planning.  

• They will be encouraged to become more proactive on their school social media.  

• They will also be guided to create high-quality needs-based projects for their school and community.
