Last Friday, Catherine Russell, our local travel officer from An Taisce, visited Green Schools as part of our ongoing work towards earning our next Green Flag. Catherine has been instrumental in guiding us through travel surveys and helping create a walkability audit. We’ve already submitted our findings to the county council, recommending better signage, road repairs, and new footpaths for improved safety near the school.

During her latest visit, we took a break for some climate-themed fun, playing "Cards Against Climate Change" and enjoying cookies. We’re excited for future meetings as we aim for our application deadline in March 2025.
