Kinsale Community School is very proud of the successes and amazing opportunities afforded to Y2 student Miley Murphy! She has recently succeeded in retaining her U14 national gold surfing status and was crowned national champion in Rossnowlagh, Co. Donegal!

On the back of her performance this season, Miley has been invited to attend the European leg of the World Surf leagues Juniors Pros held in Brittany, France and la Corunna, Spain. As Miley is too young to compete, her sponsorship team are using this opportunity to afford her experience for the future. Miley will interact and get a feel for Junior Pro competition. Furthermore, her sponsors have organised 4 days training at 'The Wave' in Bristol ( a man made wave pool) prior to the first event in Brittany.
