Senior Hurling Update

On Wednesday 26th October, our senior hurlers took on CBS High School Clonmel in the second round of the Munster B Competition.

Kinsale had a slow start. Although playing with the wind, Clonmel started scoring early with a goal from a penalty. Kinsale settled through Daniel O'Donovan's free taking and David Looney's well taken scores. Although our backline was solid throughout the game, Clonmel went in at half time, 1-7 to 0-7 up.

Kinsale came out in the second half raring to go. Riordan Stewart and Conor Fitzpatrick had standout performances in the backline which drove Kinsale on. Our subs made a massive impact coming off the bench. A goal from Noah Ryan and long-range points from Daniel O'Donovan brought Kinsale right back into it. Both teams traded goals near the end but unfortunately KCS ran out of time.

Final score line: KCS 2-10 CBS High School Clonmel 2-15
