To start off the day in Fota we went to a lecture in which we discussed and revised the ecology chapter. We revised the topic and focused on possible questions that may appear on the Leaving Certificate Biology paper and how to answer them to the best of our ability. We then went to a woodland and practiced an ecology experiment where we identified the different types of insects using the key. We discussed different ways to capture them to do the experiment. Finally, we also did a grassland experiment in groups of twos and threes where we identified different types of plants.
