Congratulations to transition year students Eva Crowley, Hannah McCarthy and Lia Connolly for qualifying for the Junk Kouture South Regional Finals with their entry “Bach to the Future”. The South Regional final will take place in University Concert Hall Limerick on the 6th of March. For anyone that wishes to attend tickets will go on sale on the 13th of February on the venues website.

Bach to the Future is a music-themed, Georgian dress that contrasts the past and future. All 3 team members are musical, which sparked the inspiration for their magical, musical dress. An online vote will count towards the groups final scores in the competition so watch this space for information on how to vote in the next few weeks!

This a very competitive competition and commiserations to the groups from KCS that did not qualify. A lifeline vote occurring from February 3rd – 7th will give these groups the opportunity to qualify into the competition but we need your help! Keep a close eye on the KCS Art Twitter page, Instagram and Junk Kouture Facebook page on how to vote for these groups.
