A group of students from TY visited Graepels on Friday 8th March with their teacher Ms Brosnan in celebration of International Women’s Day. 

The students were greeted by Gretta Murphy on arrival and after signing in students were brought to the meeting room and given a presentation on the history and work done by Graepels.  It was a very interesting talk and students learned about the architecture and the design process involved in making the artwork which features in the front of the school building and also the Proclamation Memorial. 

After the presentation, students donned their hi-vis jackets and ear plugs and were given an in-depth tour of the factory and even got to witness the production process.  It was a most enjoyable and inspirational day and we are looking forwarding to visiting again soon.
