Under 16’s Ladies rugby blitz

Kinsale community school’s inaugural ladies rugby team competed in the Munster emerging school’s Blitz in CIT on Wednesday 13th March. The KCS team competed brilliantly against schools from Bantry, Abbeyfeale and Cahersiveen. Amassing a total of 8 tries in challenging conditions the KCS team included students from 3rd to 1st year including Caoimhe Heffernan, Lauren O’Reagan, Rachel Luke, Kenzie Desmond, Emma Wrixon, Niamh Brennan, Amy Cummins, Anna Fahey, Kellie McCarthy, Alice O’Callaghan, Grace O’Reilly, Emily Bergin, Jane Piggott, and Katalin O’Reagan Leder.

 Second Year Boys Basketball:

The team had a huge win over Carrig na Bhfear on Tuesday in the county semi final, securing their place in the County Final next week in Neptune Stadium in Cork. This team have gone from strength to strength over the last few months, training every week. They will play Colaiste Pobail Bheanntrai next week in the final. This is expected to be a very close game as both teams have met already in the league stages with KCS winning by just one basket! Goodluck to the team and their coach Ms McKenna!
