On Tuesday 26th February 15 students got the opportunity to visit the multinational pharmaceutical company, GlaxoSmithKline, to learn about their apprenticeship programmes.  They are currently recruiting 3 different apprenticeships and 5th and 6th year students got to hear presentations by managers and the current apprentices.  They got a tour of some of the site plus look at the workshops and see some of the equipment that they apprentices work on.  There was time for the students to talk to the current apprentices individually and learn more about what each one involves before having a lovely lunch supplied by GSK.  The students spoke very highly about the trip and said it was really informative.
